Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter, the "Regulation"), this page describes the methods for processing the personal data of users who visit the website www.travaglini.it (hereinafter, the "Site").

This policy does not relate to other websites, pages, or online services that can be reached through hypertext links that may be published on the site, but are referred to entities/companies that are external to the Site domain.

Personal data provided will be processed for the following purposes, in compliance with the conditions of lawfulness pursuant to Art. 6 of Reg. EU 2016/679:

  • browsing this website - legitimate interest (Article 6, paragraph 1(f)) as the legal grounds for processing;
  • any request for contact, by sending the information requested - legitimate interest (Article 6, paragraph 1(f)) as the legal grounds for processing;
  • subject to consent and up to opposition: direct marketing by the Data Controller, including newsletters, market research or other surveys and direct sales to receive informational material via automated means, e-mail, fax, MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) or SMS (Short Message Service) or any other type, as well as telephone calls through an operator and paper mail, to determine customer satisfaction, promotional, commercial and advertising material, or events and initiatives, by the Data Controller - consent (Art 6, paragraph 1(a)) as the legal basis for processing.


TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED AND PROCESSING PURPOSE

Browsing data   

The IT systems and the software procedures for the functioning of this site acquire, during normal exercise, various personal data, implicitly transmitted when using Internet communication protocols.

This category includes the IP addresses or domain names of computers and terminals used by users, addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) notation of requested resources, time when request is made, method used to submit the request to the server, the file size obtained in response, numerical code indicating the response status from the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the user's operating system and computer environment.

These data are necessary for the use of web services, and are also processed for the purpose of:

  • obtaining statistical information on the use of services (frequently visited pages, number of visitors in a time period or day, geographical areas of origin, etc.);
  • verify the proper operation of the services offered.

Data provided by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to the Data Controller's contact addresses, as well as the completion and submission of the forms present on the site, entail the acquisition of the sender's contact data which are necessary to allow a reply, as well as all the personal data included in the communications themselves.


NEWSLETTER POLICY STATEMENT

The Newsletter published by Travaglini S.p.A. as the Data Controller (hereinafter, the "Data Controller"), allows for a continuous and extensive analysis and update on its product news, events, and activities at a national and international level.

For ethical reasons, we inform you that our communications will be sent periodically in a non-invasive manner.


Subscribing to the newsletter

The Data Controller processes the personal data of users with great care. This statement establishes the privacy policy that governs the processing of personal data collected by means of voluntary provision on the site www.travaglini.it.

The Newsletter is sent periodically by e-mail to those who explicitly request it, by voluntarily filling in the form on the site or through other forms of data provision, including hard copy, which explicitly authorise the Data Controller to process their personal data.

Consent to data processing is optional and voluntary. Refusal by user to provide his/her personal data makes it impossible to receive our Newsletter.


Disclosure on the processing of personal data

This policy statement is provided pursuant to Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter, the "Regulation"), as well as the national legislation on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, and the free circulation of the processed data.

Personal data provided by the users or acquired by the site www.travaglini.it will be subject to processing based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and the protection of privacy and personal rights.


Browsing data

Programs used for site operation and connection to it (links, QR codes, etc.), and for the collection of the data necessary to send the Newsletter, collect personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (e.g. IP addresses that connect, time of the request, and other data). These data are solely used to obtain statistical information, will not be associated with any identifying user data, and are deleted immediately after processing.

PROCESSING PURPOSE

Personal data provided by users is only used to send the Newsletter, and will not be communicated or transferred to third parties.

In order to compare and potentially improve the results of communications, the Data Controller may use systems for sending newsletters and promotional communications with reports. Thanks to reports, the Data Controller is able to gain knowledge as to the number of readers, openings, clicks, the number of users who have not yet confirmed their registration, the detail of emails sent by date/hour/minute, the detail of emails delivered or not delivered, and those forwarded, as well as the list of deactivated subscribers to the Newsletter, etc.).


Data processing methods

Data collected is processed by computerised means. Specific security measures are taken to prevent data loss, illicit or improper use, and unauthorised access.


Data retention

Data will be stored for the time necessary to provide the service requested, at the end of which it will be deleted, unless otherwise agreed upon.


Minors under 16 years of age

Pursuant to art. 8 of the Regulation, users under 16 of age cannot provide personal data. The Data Controller will not in any way be responsible for any untruthful declarations that may be provided by minors.

Should false statements made by the minor be ascertained, the Data Controller will immediately proceed to cancel all personal data.


Security

The Data Controller has taken countless security measures to protect your data from loss, unlawful processing, or other abuse. Namely, it has taken the measures pursuant to Articles 32-34 of the Privacy Code, as applicable, and Articles 32 and following of the Regulation, in maintaining a high and continuously monitored standard of security.

These are subjects that provide the Data Controller with communication support services, maintain the efficiency of websites, e-mailing, etc.

Rights of Data Subjects (Articles 15 and following of the GDPR)

Data subjects who submit their personal data have the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of the data and to know their content and origins, check their accuracy or request their integration, updating or correction at any time (Article 7 of Legislative Decree no.196/2003).

Pursuant to said legislation, users have the right to request the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form, or block data processed in violation of the law, and oppose its processing for legitimate reasons. Requests should be sent:
